Audiences are at the heart of Gallery activities, which extend from our redeveloped and expanded site in the arts and learning precinct of inner-city Auckland.
The Membership Manager role is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated person to contribute to the growth of fund raising for the Gallery. You would oversee the effective management of a high-profile and profitable membership scheme, develop and deliver membership and fundraising strategies, and manage the infrastructure support requirements for a positive user experience. You will supervise two staff members and work collaboratively with other teams for cross-selling opportunities.
To be successful, you need:
- Strong business development skills
- The ability to influence and negotiate with a wide portfolio of stakeholders, partners and supporters
- Experience in managing staff in a senior role, using your creative and innovative skills to build relationships
- A tertiary qualification in marketing or equivalent
- Experience of non-executive committees and high level meetings
- A flexible approach, enabling you to work across the Gallery with stakeholders in different divisions and functions
- An interest in the arts.
