Inspired by the State of Our Gulf 2020 report, I Am Island and Sea is the culmination of work by artist Kate Parker, in collaboration with fellow artist Sarah-Jane Blake, Mixit and students from six Auckland schools, including: Dioecesan School fo Girls, Green Bay High School, New Lynn school, Papatoetoe High School, Pukekohe High School and Te Kura o Pounamu.
One consistent drive I have as a maker is to add voice to the rising wave of positive change on our planet.
