Pam Ford

Pam has worked with TAU and legacy ATEED since 2013. Her role creates and facilitates opportunities to grow, retain and attract people and investment to the region, and supports innovation, entrepreneurship and industry growth. 

Pam’s rōpū (group) strives for economic transformation across Auckland and she has played a key role in the development of the thriving GridAKL innovation precinct and its expansion to form a network of regional hubs. 

Pam’s previous positions include a ‘NZ Inc’ role in the US to convert relationships with investors into investment in New Zealand following the 34th America's Cup in San Francisco, and economic diplomacy. 

Pam has a BMS from University of Waikato and studied Te Ara Reo Māori at Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. She is a member of the Institute of Directors and Global Woman, chaired Economic Development New Zealand for three years, and is a former co-chair of Auckland City of Music (UNESCO Creative Cities Network).
