Tātaki Auckland Unlimited expresses our deepest condolences to Kiingi Tuheitia’s whānau, to the Iwi and Hapū of Waikato Tainui, and to the many people whose lives he touched.
We pay tribute to an inspiring leader who has left a powerful legacy in his call for kotahitanga – unity of all peoples, and we acknowledge his passion and advocacy for Māori arts, culture, and economic development in Aotearoa and internationally.
