There is always something happening on Queens Wharf, at the bottom of Queen Street in downtown Auckland.
In the summer, it is the hub where outdoor exhibitions, sunrise yoga and live music complement the long sunny days and permanent holiday feeling. In the winter, Shed 10 provides a place to watch the rugby or other winter games and have a warming pint. An architecturally designed function space, The Cloud hosts special winter festivals, conferences and temporary exhibitions.
The People’s Wharf connects the busy city to its serene Waitemata harbour, providing hours of free entertainment for the whole family and the walkers and anglers who love this spot. It hosts interesting large sculptures to be debated and admired; and is an easy stroll to the vibrant Auckland Viaduct dining scene, or a visit to our very own NZ Maritime Museum for a sail around the harbour.
As an event venue, nothing beats holding your function alongside the majestic cruise ships that frequent our harbour. The views across the water are spectacular at any time of the day or night, and with the ferry terminal on our doorstep, it is the perfect stepping stone to other adventures.
