Climate Change and Environment Strategic Plan

To support an action-oriented approach to environmental sustainability, Tātaki Auckland Unlimited has developed a Climate Change and Environment Strategic Plan, which initially focuses on the environment pillar with priorities of climate resilience; emissions reduction; waste; and water; as well as the social pillar of empowered organisation to enable and embed climate change and sustainability practices.

The primary focus of this plan is to establish goals and targets with prioritised actions that effectively tackle climate change and environmental impacts throughout our internal operations.

This document is designed as a 'living' plan, allowing it to adapt to changing circumstances and undergo regular reviews to assess progress and build in new actions as required.

The plan will support actions through FY2023/24 to FY2026/27 – January 2024 to June 2027.
